Where is the XP version of the Windows Live Mail contacts list?

I was running the XP version of Windows Live mail on my desktop. Recently I did a custom install of Windows 7 and the W7 version of WLM on that computer. The installation of WLM did automatically import a contacts list, however, on examination it is an obsolete version, not the current contacts list from the XP version of WLM.
Can anyone tell me how I can recover my latest WLM contacts list?

Thanks

If you "sign-in" when using WLM (the program) it gets its contacts from the website contacts.live.com for the signed-in Live ID. So in that case, the contact lists would have to be the same. Differences can happen if you don't sign-in since you would then be viewing the "not signed-in" contact list for the particular install you are currently using.

thanks roncerr. I have never signed up for Live-ID when I used the XP version of WLM. I feel that somewhere in the zillions of files on my computer there is a contact file that was current when I said goodbye to windows XP. Maybe in windows_old?

The Live ID is the email address you had to provide in order to download "Windows Live Essentials". Years ago, it was called "Microsoft Passport".
