hi! I'm new here, but I have had more trouble with Office 2010, and if was buying, I'd buy the newer version like 2013 or 2014..Why, Unless you buy Microsoft Office Business 2010, you will not get Windows Outlook 2010..Outlook only comes with the "'business"", and then be sure you get a ""working"" key code...that is a must.....
That's my problem, I have 2010 Office Home and Student, ( No Outlook )..So I ordered the Office Home and Business 2010, Back Up disc just to get 2010 Outlook..These were bought 4 days apart. I installed them, they worked great, until I did a Upgrade to Windows 7 Professional...In the upgrade, I lost Outlook and had to do a complete Install..So now, after the install, Microsoft Business sends the 25 key code, and it will not except it..I called, I email, and searched Microsoft Support web sites..I tell them , I was told to use the 25 key code that came with Home and Student when the Business Disc came..I did, I loaded and was excepted them..But today, just a little over a year later, they tell me I have no key code for the business office disc...Go figure..I called and raised all kinds of h@ll with everyone who would listen. the best I could get out them..They would gladly sell me a "'new" key code for my Microsoft Office Business less than 2 years old, for a mere $99.00 dollar. So now I am looking into a transfer cable that will transfer Windows Outlook program, not so much worried about losing email addresses, I just need the program of Outlook..rant is over..
