Didn't you just buy a 7770? And why ask to change the brand if you only just bought one anyway?

Whatever, I'd ask for a Palit reference card. I have a Palit reference 780 and it's brilliant, Palit are a very good card manufacturer and the reference cooling on these cards is fantastic.

OK. First off, why would you want to overclock a GPU that's for a video editing rig? I'm a bit stumped there. Also, the specs in your system specs say they're for your editing rig, if that's correct you'd benefit from at least doubling your RAM, 4GB isn't a lot at all for video editing.

As for your gaming rig, how many monitors do you have? If you only have one normal monitor (not 3D) at 1080p or less the 780ti would be a waste of money, the 780 will be more than enough.

And what made you decide to change the brand of your card?

I was always ASUS with my GPUs (I still have a 7850-DC2T in my backup rig) but I thought I'd take a chance on the reference 780 after reading some excellent reviews of the design and cooling system, and I've been very impressed. The card is a lot quieter than the ASUS Direct CU and additionally it expels its heat out of the back of the rig, not into it. Quieter and a cooler rig is always a winner.

Of course there are all the usual manufacturers knocking out reference 780s/780tis, but Palit are actually up there with the best GPU manufacturers at the moment hence me choosing them. And I can certainly vouch for the quality of the card.

As for looks, the DC2T is a beauty, but there's no match for that GTX design!

Yeah it was only on the 780 upwards. I thought it included the 770 at first but no such joy.

Aah I didn't know that, I've seen plenty of the black cards but none with the Titan cooler on. I wonder why there are two different version of reference for that card? It wouldn't be the difference in the 2GB/4GB versions would it?

PNY cards are perfect decent, you wont get vastly different performance between cards and brands, some are factory over clocked but something you can easily do yourself, unless you get a kingpin card.. then your talking uber performance!!
