Which File to Extract?

Which file exactly do I need to extract from Windows 7 (64 bit) dvd to repair my system files?

After reading the tutorial, I think you'll be much better off, and have spent FAR less time just booting from the DVD. If you don't have a bootable DVD, you can find the Microsoft program to make a bootable flash drive or DVD, and then you'll be ready to go.

I used the method posted Windows 7 features - Startup Repair - Microsoft Windows -but, all I got was a new error, and a hidden partition showing.
