I'm slightly new to building PC's, and I'm not sure what to look for in graphic cards, I always assumed the more GB they have, the better they were, but it seems as if thats not the case. So I thought somebody here would be able to help me out! Which one of these cards would be better for a gaming PC, I need to upgrade me card soon anyways!

ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 G-SYNC Support GeForce GTX 760 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card - Newegg.com

or

ASUS DirectCU II R9270X-DC2T-4GD5 Radeon R9 270X 4GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Newegg.com
(4gb version)

Thanks!!!

It depends on the game and resolution. The 760 seems to beat the 270X at 1080p in some games, while the 270X beats the 760 in higher resolutions.

Check out these benchmarks: AMD Radeon R9 270X Graphics Card Review – Techgage

If you assume that more GB is better then it is true when you have a high end video card but useless if you have an entry-level graphics card.

Edit: Go with NVIDIA
