Can anyone suggest which is best CPU for gaming purpose in notebooks?

APU quadcore A8,A10 or Intel core i5 or i7(Suggest generation)...And also RAM.....

I found that apu quadcore processor notebooks are a bit cheaper when compared to intel.

Depends on how much you can spend. You don't state what your budget is.

If money is no object, get the strongest CPU you can afford.

The graphics capability of the machine will likely matter more than the CPU as long as the CPU is at least passable by today's standards---say 5000 or higher on a Passmark CPU benchmark.

This machine is to be used for NOTHING BUT gaming?

Prepare to be disappointed and face noise and heat issues if you intend to game on anything but a desktop or a quite expensive portable.

Whats the difference in apu and intel processors for gaming purpose?

Irrespective of budget,I just want to know minimum recommended specs for present games...

AnandTech | Bench - Notebook

You can benchmark notebooks against each other to get a comparison at the above link.

You can also look at the link below to compare video cards and CPUs against the Passmark benchmark:

https://www.cpubenchmark.net/

The "minimum recommended specs for present games" would depend on what games at what settings and at what resolution.

I don't game and I don't use notebooks, so I can't help you any further. You might try a post in the gaming section.

Notebooks are not good game machines and nothing you can do will make it so. It is true that graphics performance in notebooks is getting better all the time, but so are the game requirements. The design priorities of notebooks (small size, light weight, low power consumption) are at odds with the requirements for high performance graphics.

For laptop users, recommend using a USB-powered notebook cooling assembly [with either one giant fan or two twin fans] at all times. For those with laptops having "hot proc corners," consider having a $5 Walmart AC 5" fan aimed at the proc corner. My two Acers have such fans.

It`s best to get a Laptop/Notebook with dual graphics.

I recommend an Intel chip, i5 or higher and an nVidia graphics chip.
