Which is better to clear cache - CCleaner or using the browser (Firefox) function?

CCleaner because it clears more than just the browser cache. There are all kinds of temporary system files it deletes. Firefox doesn't.

Most, if not all browsers give the option to delete their caches, so I would first go there when possible, and only consider other options when it fall short.

Another question would be why do you want to delete the cache? What concrete problem does it gives?
