I doubt that your PC config or O/S has much to do with choosing the best WiFi. Most USB wi-fi’s will work with any system with USB. I’d look for speed, range, power, features, and what your budget allows. I like the Netgear a6200 – though you may not need that much horsepower if budget is an issue.

I’d try different manufacturers and compare their product’s range, features, and price. Then choose what best suits your needs.

If it's only an adapter you need and budget isn't an issue, then as in my prior post: I like the ease, function, and performance of my A6200.

This sounds a bit different than your earlier sentence. If you don't already have access to a wifi signal, you'll need more than just an adapter; ie.: a router and internet service connection to create a brand new hotspot of your own.

As I don't have any knowledge in hardware, I'm not sure which one is best in the market. Kindly suggest me some along with name and version.
I don't know what is best on market; as I think most are about the same for the average user. I like my A6200.

I looked up the DG41WV mobo you mention here; this board should be fine as it has 8 USB2 ports/headers for your adapter and the A6200 (or others) will work fine. Also I noticed only one socket on this board; I too often get mixed up between the number of cores and number of CPUs. Good luck with you system build! :)
