Bose speakers are overpriced to people who cannot afford them...
Not necessarily. When I last went shopping for speakers, I bought a 5.1 system that was about the same price as the 2.0 Bose I was going to get. The system I bought sounded much better than the Bose. In my book, that made the Bose overpriced since the quality was much lower than a better system at roughly the same price.
The speakers I am using cost probably under $30,00 , like I said I am not an audiophile. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes and opinions. All I know is that the Bose speakers I heard , the sound quality was excellent and this was about 5 years ago. If I was using my PC as a Media Center I would get better speakers but all I do is test Firefox Builds and Play games and participate in forums. I do not need high quality sound. Bose sells due to brand recognition and probably reliability. I am glad you got a better system .
