Which to buy?

Okay so after finding out i am not qualified for a discount, I need to know which version to buy, and I dont really understand what qualifies to be upgraded and which needs the entire OS

My Gateway came with vista installed when I got it.

Im back. If you have Vista, you qualify for the cheaper upgrade version.Which one is up to you. Home Premium, Ultimate, etc. Most people like Home Premium. It is the version that I have. Buy the upgrade, it is much cheaper than the full retail. When you buy it we can direct you to our tutorials, to show you how to install it and we can assist. A little hint for you, I cheated, I watched it step by step on youtube and received help from the talented people here.

PS Other members feel that you may qualify with the county address. I am sure you do not. Anyone in the county has that address. You need a edu.

PPS You will love 7, I came off Vista and this is so much better.

Thanks again, My son installed W7 on his and the family computer during the testing period and I loved it, runs so much smoother, and all of our programs and games worked without a single problem

Yes, Home Premium. I really dont need any of the features the others come with besides the back up. And I can just use disk or my Back up HD
