Which Version?

I Have a old 512mb computer and i runnign the rc or win 7 ultimate and i wanted to know would the lower versions make it run faster since they dont have the same processes.

I think he means Basic and starter editions, Haven't tried them but I don't think you would notice much of an improvement, I think you need to upgrade your hardware or add some more RAM if you want to see better results.

The only keys available at the moment are Ultimate keys, thus it will be problematic to try another SKU unless you like to re-install every three days or so.
