Which virtualization program shall I use for Aero and performance?

Hi,
I would like to know which program I should use for virtualization. The most common things I will use it for is like a desktop OS (music, videos,Aero and the rest).Currently I have Virtual PC and VMware Workstation 11.The good things for Virtual PC is speed, sound performance.VMware has 3D support, which is something I want for my virtual machine. It will be Windows Vista Home Premium.
Specs for VM:
RAM:1-1,5 GB
Disk space:40-60 GB (may expand it)
Graphics:1-2 GB
But I am in a dilemma.Shall I use a 32 bit or 64 bit version (I have keys for both)?

Looks like you got it figured out. I use VMware Player for W8.1, W10TP and some Linux. I never had a problem.

Given the small RAM allocation, I would go with the 32bit. It has a smaller footprint. Just be aware that you need a product key in a virtual machine - either a retail key that is not used in another place or a brand new OEM key.

To get decent, not optimum, performance from a 64 bit OS (real or virtual) you need a minimum of 2 GB RAM, the published minimum. With only 4 GB in the host it would be difficult to give the client more than 1.5 GB without starving the host. You would need a compelling reason to go 64 bit with less than 2 GB RAM.

Then,I will install the 32 bit version. But I want to tell something that annoys me a lot with Workstation.I have done 4-5 reinstallations of Windows 7 (host) and the VM performance has degraded a lot.It takes 3-5 minutes to boot and loading settings(themes, sound) is just extremely slow. The sound is very distorted.Virtual PC doesn't have any problem with sound, but this graphics memory it has allows me only to select the Basic theme.Virtual PC also boots up quickly.Does that happen, because it's a new installation?Sometime,I had Player installed on my computer.I installed both the 32 bit and 64 bit version. The 64 bit one was installed on EFI firmware (I firstly used a Windows 7 SP1 ISO to install, because the Vista one was only BIOS bootable, not UEFI).Even the Media Player trick doesn't do anything right now (not very distorted sound, boosted performance).

An update:Installed Vista SP2 by scratch and runs well right now. When I have Media Player running on the background (of the guest),performance is boosted and sound sounds better.I have changed the setting for 24 bit,44100 Hz,however, sound still remains somewhat distorted. Is there any way to have Aero enabled in Virtual PC?
