I find it to be rather boring to watch, although I do respect the level of conditioning the players must have to do all that running to and fro.

I watched both AFC / NFC games. The Saints are a good team. In this case they were able to capitalise on the Vikings mistakes (fumbles / penalties) If it wasn't for one missed feild goal there wouldn't have been any OT to speak of. The Colts ripped apart the Jets running game and as a result in the 2nd half Jets offence could not come up with an alternate plan. The Colts overall were the strongest team out of both games.
Imo congrats to the Saints for finally getting your team to the superbowl but the Colts will walk away with the win.

As for cricket in a football thread, what can I say? This time of the year, I see anything sport related and all my brain reads is cricket I'm a diehard fan and they're the worst

You got that wrong. The bag thing was the "Aints". The chant for the Saints started in 1983 when a local band recorded the song "When the saints go marching in" featuring a group of Saint players chanting "Who Dat say they gonna beat them Saints". It was a big hit and the fan base picked it up.
