who installed ie11 today or prior ?

Before I update my main computer to ie 11
I would like some feedback
Who installed it and what problems or not are you having with it
I installed it on one of my test computers and so far I found the problem with the gadgets so I am not sure if I want to put it on my business machine that now runs ie 9 or any of my clients machines

I ran the update to IE11 yesterday and have had no problems. But I don't use Gadgets. Those are a huge security hole.

What do you call a 'decent CPU reader' ?? I use the CPU Meter that comes with the desktop gadgets and it has always served me well.

Actually it is not bad- it is called All CPU Meter
I got it here Windows Desktop Gadgets - All CPU Meter Version 4.7.3
actually after installing ie 11it does keep the cpu meter it just takes out the graphic
the same with the weather gadget

whs it was the cpu reader from windows 7 gadgets but the one I just put on my test machine seems to be doing ok so far
On my main machine I put back the cpu reader/meter, it is just lacking the graphics, no biggy, as long as it works I really do not care if it pretty

you are correct, Microsoft discontinued the gadgets as you see here

btw ie 11 is working great here on my main business machine running windows 7, seems to be a much faster browser and uses less cpu, so far anyway
only some sites still are not up to date for it- go figure with windows 8.1 out I would think they would
I went to the Comcast site and it told me my browser was not compatible- very weird because it does not tell me that on my windows 8.1 computers. as you see in the picture below- did that on both windows 7 machines I just put ie 11 on.

hmm once clicking on Tools/Compatibility View Settings and adding the Comcast website it now goes fine

You could install open hardware monitor and it will let you put a cpu temp gadget on the desktop.

What other things do you want the cpu gadget to display ?

I installed IE11 yesterday and it cured my problems with Windows Live Mail reading messages from Yahoo!.

I'll continue using Firefox as my primary browser though.

I downloaded it through a banner on the top of msn.com's default homepage, just about like I got ie10,
Not optimized of course with Bing and msn
But yes went without a hitch,
The worldwide language link was on the News section story Brink offered but the download sat there like a dead duck ? missing a windows update I suppose ?
Found a small dpi conflict with scrolling with the mouse wheel so I lower dpi to 125% instead of 130% and all is well in the universe,

I agree ie11 is pretty good but I'm not seeing any increases in performance with loading...

It does seem dpi sensitive with the gadgets issue your referring to,
Some people have said it breaks them if the dpi is over 100%,
Which might point to a video card driver not quite compatible or needs to be updated,
I also noticed ie11 works better with hardware rendering instead of software rendering,
Some people have also said "Enhanced protection mode" was activated after upgrading to ie11,
This was not true on my end,
