Why can I not stream media of any kind?

I have a feeling that it depends on your ISP and drivers.
I have the lowest Broadband/DSL connectiontion that is available in my neck of the woods ... it's just a step up from 'dial-up', so you might look into your service provider first, then your drivers second.
