Hi guys,

I have read in other threads the function of CONHOST.EXE process in Windows 7 (the legit process located in SYSTEM32 folder).

But I wonder why in my pc this process appears only when I use the Tor Browser, and not when I use the stardard Firefox browser or in any other situation.

In your opinion what could be the reason of the activation of conhost.exe process in this particular situation?

Many thanks

Probably because Tor is opening a console.

MMH yes but is it normal that Tor is opening a console?
What kind of console?
As far as I know, Tor usually open only two process: tor.exe and vidalia.exe.
