why does this occur?

Every time a reboot a NUANCE installer wants me to install Paperport. I already have it and it does not need installing. How do I ind the file and delete it so it will not keep bugging me.

One of the easiest ways to find it and get rid of it is to use Microsoft's AutoRuns.

Or you can use msconfig by going Start Menu -> Run -> msconfig

If you still have the program installer, suggest you uninstall using Revo:

Revo

Then reinstall. It's possible just a reinstall, with out the uninstall first, will do the trick.

I saw that...it looks like the automatic update of the software that done that redundant window.

Might go in Control Panel=>Programs & Functions to see if there's a kind of "Nuance/Paperport Updater" to uninstall, or as suggested by some type "msconfig" and trace that one.
