Normally my RAM shows up like this: Total Memory: 8192mb

But lately, I noticed a change, coinciding with some strange performance issues on my PC.

It is now saying: Total Memory: 8126mb with 64mb Shared RAM and 2mb GTT Memory

It sounds to me like that is the kind of shared memory you would use with an integrated GPU, but I have a dedicated Radeon HD7950 with 3GB GDDR5.

Anybody know what is causing this? It has also (strangely) caused a 2-3% performance loss in all GPU benchmarks and gaming (I actually measured it ha!)
