NEVER MIND, I AM AN IDIOT.
I had forgotten to connect the XP computer to wi-fi through the router.
Sometimes I hate myself.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My computer runs W7. Aside it (over the same table) I have an old laptop running XP only for play MP3.
I'd like to to be able to transfer tunes between both computers using wi-fi.

I tried to share the XP folder with MP3s and set up a network but it didn't work at all...

The folder got shared, I then set up a network in XP called 'myoffice' and it generated an assistant app in a pen drive that I supposed to run into the other computers of the network and get everything set. I then plugged the pen drive into my W7 computer, ran the app but at the end it said "Not possible to conclude the network config assistant - error during the network config in this computer". Long story short it didn't work.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Origin of idiot

1250–1300; Middle English <Latin idiōta<Greek idiṓtēs private person, layman, person lacking skill or expertise, equivalent to idiō- (lengthened variant of idio-idio-, perhaps by analogy with stratiōtēs professional soldier, derivative of stratiá army) + -tēs agent noun suffix

Been there done that many times. LOL If we didn't make mistakes and learn from them, we'd be doomed to live in the past.

BTW- This word came about during the black plague.
