Hi!

I have a new problem with my Windows 7 Professional. When I install the newest Realtek HD Audio Manager, all my sounds(including games, videos, audio files) is scratchy and very bad. When I uninstall it and set my default "sound driver" back, the sound is the most time OK, but sometimes(that is very annoying for 1 or 2 hours later) makes also scratchy and wierd noises.

Can anyone help?

Sorry for my bad english, but I hope you understand my problem. ^^

- are you sure that you are using the correct driver?

- RealTek have a number of different drivers to suit different types of hardware..

I attempted to upgrade to Realtek's 2.40 driver, but I get a really scratchy output. SO, I reverted back to 2.37 and will put up with the sound problem there, which is that every so often the sound will cut out completely for a few seconds... That problem is less annoying. One of the problem's I am having is apparently Realtek's HD sound manager is not included in the 2.40 audio patch.

Sorry for the mis-speak. I attempted to upgrade yesterday from the Realtek site, so the drivers I attempted to install were 2.43. I reverted back to 2.37 after I could not find the HD sound manager. Did they not add this component in 2.43? ANyway, if anyone knows how to fix the scratchy sounding sound quality, my problems with the Windows 7 sound issue will be over. :)
