Wifi Adapter for Arris N300 Surfboard Docsis 3.0 Cable Modem/Router

I have been using Belkin basic wireless usb adapters (f7d1101) for well over ten years on each of my three Win7 pcs. On one pc, every so often, I will lose the internet signal. Unplugging the adapter, waiting ten seconds, then plugging it back in works. What would be a better wifi adapter to replace the Belkin(s) would you suggest for my modem/router? Preferably, not to expensive since if I replace one, I might go ahead and replace all three.

It depends what you modem can take if its n type its old and slow most are now ac type which can do up to 3 gig were n type is 150--300 or less

What is the exact model number of the modem? N300 is some generic term for their range of products it seems. Look at this image and see where I have the arrows pointing.

Now what are you paying for Internet speed?
