WIFI HOTSPOT behind an http proxy

Hi, I want to use my PC for a wifi hotspot using a wlan adapter, now the problem is my PC can only access internet through an HTTP proxy. Can anyone help me, solutions and alternatives. Btw the connection is for my tab so i can use apps,

The following link explains how to set this up using connectify and two other small software programs that allow a connection to the proxy server. I've never tried this before but maybe the link will help you set this up.

Dude this only works for browsers. i need a way that will connect my apps to the internet. thanks for the reply though

You mean in the case as was presented in the post describing how to set this up. That may not be the case for you and this is about the only way I see to do this.

You can probably get apps to work by adding a proper DNS server during the set up.
