My printer works fine from the server, but I can't print to it from my laptop via wifi.

The wifi connection is fine; web access works fine, and I can read and write files to the server from the laptop.

If I try to print something from the laptop, nothing happens and I don't get an error message.

If I go into Devices and Printers on the laptop, right-click the printer, and choose Troubleshoot, it runs for a few moments and then says "Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem."

If I right-click the printer in Devices and Printers on the laptop, choose Printer Properties, and then click Print Test Page, it says "A test page has been sent to your printer". But no test page prints at the printer.

If I go into Network and Sharing Center on the laptop, click the Network on the network map, then double-click the server, then right-click the printer, I get the message:

"Windows cannot connect to the printer. The server print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler on the server or restart the server machine."

But the print spooler service is running on the server. I tried stopping and restarting it, but got the same result. I tried restarting the server, and again got the same result.

What do I need to do to be able to print to that printer from the laptop via wifi?

Thanks,

Greg

..But I hadn 't tried restarting the print spooler service on the laptop. I tried that just now, and it worked!
