Solved wii skylander help for my lad

Unsure where best to post this, so here it goes:
We bought the skylander game for the wii for my lad for xmas. We/i cannot figure out where you or how you input the update codes from playing or the codes you get with the game.
Yes we have registered on skylanders/giants/beta.
So any one??

Not sure if we are at cross purposes but my boy has skylanders for PS3 and it came with codes for PC he goes to skylanders website and plays games and stuff (not sure what) and i believe he put codes in there somewhere to get characters or something, not to sure exactly let me know if you need more detail i will ask/kick him until he shows me

Thanks pauly, perhaps he may have to play on pc before we find where to input codes.

Eureka!! Manage to do it. For anyone else, the instructions supplied are poor imo. So we registered, clicked play now, then load game and select a server at that point you can start inputting the codes for your skylanders.
Now i also think you canconnect your portal of power by usb and place your skylander on it, AFAIK it then registers it to your account
