I have a laptop dual-booting Vista 32-bit, and Windows 7 64 bit, along with a data partition and a recovery partition. I was just wondering, is 64 bit Windows 7 faster than 32 bit for me?
I understand that 32 bit only recognises up to 3.5GB ram (ish) but I only have 3GB. All of my drivers are 64 bit compatible, so that can't cause an issue, and my processor is the AMD Athlon II X2 QL-65 running @ 2.1Ghz.
If I had a completely clean installation of either, which would you recommend?
I'm sure this will be a simple and common question to you, and I have tried searching but I'm not convinced.
Thanks in advance, Will.
