Solved Will a ASRock 990FX Extreme3 fit my Thermaltake Commander MS-I case ?

So,like the title says,will the ASRock 990FX Extreme3 fit my Thermaltake Commander MS-I case ? Im planning to buy one. Since I live in Croatia,I don't have so many mobo's to choose,but yeah... thanks in advance !

In a nutshell Razzer mate the board is ATX and the Thermaltake will fit ATX so what exactly aer you concerned about?? Perhaps the length and height of GPUs' etc ??

ASRock > 990FX Extreme3 scroll down to form factor. Now if you are going to game or OC then make note that the highest speed RAM it will support is 1866Mhz that I can make out. Also note the BIOS is EUFI and it is a very different animal to the old sort of BIOS.


Personally I would have looked for an Asus board as mate of mine had that many problems with Asrocks it put me off even thinking about them but the choice of course is yours and this is aonly my thoughts os the matter.

Why not look up some Youtube unboxings and trials that is a real good way to get a look at gear you buy .

Understandably mate nothing worse than getting something and it will not fit or only just. Best thing is and I always do is go for the specs on cases from the manufacturers sites or the dealers cos they use those specs too most of the time and if possible measure them off a case you have already I look for how the hard drives are mounted as a prerequsite to buying one as i prefer the east / west insertion and not north / south (front to back)

The boards are standard sizes. Computer form factor - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and all have standard fixing holes measurements that are on any size board. So the fixing holes will be at the same centres on an ATX as will the mini ATX. If you have a look at any adverts for cases you can see inside them - the mounting spots on the backplate will look identical.
