Will Chrome read, display an HTML home page?

I have a large (HTML) web page with links. Will Chrome allow me to easily link to it as I can in FF 6101, if so what are the steps as I've am not familiar with Chrome. The bank requires me to use Chrome to access my acct.

It's very simple. Launch Chrome, and drag-and-drop your html file into the browser window. It should display your page of links. Then just bookmark the page (by clicking the star on the right end of the URL bar).

For ease of use, I'd suggest storing the bookmark on Chrome's "Bookmarks bar", and in Chrome's settings enable "Bookmarks" -> "Show bookmarks bar".

You can also set your page of links as the Start Page whenever you launch Chrome. Again, drag-and-drop your html file into the browser window, then in Chrome's settings select "On startup" -> "Open a specific page or set of pages" -> "Use current pages".

Do you plan on switching from FF to Chrome as your general-use browser? If not, and you're only going to use it for your bank, then you could install Chrome but keep FF as your default, and set the bank's webpage as Chrome's Start Page rather than your html file.

Just because your bank says you need to have one browser doesn't mean you're limited to that just one. You can always install Firefox, Pale Moon, Ice Dragon, whatever. You can chose which browser to use and which to set as the default browser.

Thanks for the tip. Chrome is the only browser that will work with the banks new security system according to the home office.

I'm looking at changing banks but it will be a logistical nightmare I don't want to go thru again. Moving to NJ was like landing on Omaha Beach during the Normandy invasion.

Today's tech has trouble handling Individualist families moving. If you're in the + - 1 std dev on the Bell curve your fine.
