Will Cordless Desktop® MX™ 5500 (Logitech) work with W7

Searched all over and Logitech site says yes, others say only xp and Vista. I am in the market for a new keyboard/mouse and the Logitech 5500 looks very appealing. So, are there any W7 users here utilizing the Logitech MX5500 (blue tooth)? If so, can you please elaborate on your experiences. I plan to call Logitech directly as well.

Thxs in advance!

I am using a Logitech K350 keyboard paired with the Performance MX mouse which uses the Unifying USB system allowing one USB device to handle multiple wireless devices. It has run flawlessly with Windows 7 64 Ultimate, the mouse is rechargeable and the keyboard has a battery run time of up to 3 years, can't recommend this enough. Just to give you an alternate suggestion.
