Will drivers work in Windows 8?

I have a Toshiba Satellite C655-S5061. It is running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. I just downloaded the ISO for Windows 8 Developer Preview (without developer tools) and I want to install it over Windows 7 without erasing ANYTHING. If I install this, will my Wireless drivers and other things like that still work? I NEED Wifi drivers for school.

Most Windows 7 drivers will work with Windows 8.

Personal view -- BAD idea! I spent the weekend wrestling with Win8Dp 32-bit and gave up after three days of the worst instability I have ever seen.

This is an ALPHA -- not even a Beta yet. Things don't work. Things crash.

And, when you run the Refresh to restore a working system, it wipes out EVERYTHING you installed -- including any drivers and ALL the apps; that's right, ALL of them.

A much better solution, with such an early version, is to dual-boot with Win8DP. That way, you will still have Win7 to use.
