I was doing yard work earlier, both the lawn mower and weed-wacker are both electric. I had left my computer on before heading outside. Soon the breaker on the house is tripped, so I fix that issue restoring power to the affected portion of the house, including my room.
After I finish the yard work my computer is off due to the breaker on the house being reset, so I press the power switch on the front and the blue LED lights up for a split second and then nothing. I press the reset button then the power button again, absolutely nothing. I reset the power switch on the back of the power unit and hit the power button on the front again, the blue LED lights up for a split second and then nothing again. Whenever I reset the power to the system the blue LED lights up for a split second then nothing else after that until the power switch on the PSU is reset again.
I don't think the PSU is the culprit because the motherboard light and the LED for the USB mouse are still on, indicating that is still getting into the computer. The power unit is only 2 weeks old.
Please help me to get my system working again.
