Will not download Office SP3

Have tried on numerous occasions and it will not install this update and have looked for the code but cannot find it otherwise machine running fine.

The update is for 2007 Office SP3.

Any ideas pleasee?

Have a look at this thread. The path in Windows 7 would be:

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\OFFICE\DATA\opa12.dat

Thanks KK and Guy Have tried unsuccessfully again to install from the site and keep getting that failed message .

I have looked for the Program Data but cannot find that anywhere - is that supposed to be in the reg entires as I have looked in there too and nothing.

I Googled Office 12 as it is showing up in my programs list. Now apparently the 12 was released as 2007 while being developed as my copy is now quiet old would this be because the 12 being developed is now released and has this SP3 as apart of it and has nothing to add to my 2007 software?

Program data is a hidden file, do you have folders set to view hidden files?

Windows update is offering the update correct? If so, it is recognizing that you have the office that that update applies to.

Ok Guy have done that and this is what I get.

ONe is the download screen - hav three sitting in downloads and it still will not install form site although it shows as an update all the time.
Well I have to dash to work but I'll check back in a bit.

I have Office 12, and all updates are successfully downloade, but there is something different in your data file from mine; take a look:
Maybe your file 81602.bpc is preventing other updates to install cause the date of that file corresponds with MS tuesday patch.
Try to copy this file outside \office\data, then delete it from there and see if the other updates will install.
