will this game work on my laptop? if not what will?

hi basically I have a dell inspiron 1545, with windows 7 home premium, 34 bit, 2.20ghz, 2 gb ram, Pentium(r) dual-core cpu.
I want to get age of empires (any of them really, but wouldn't mind going through them all) or Rome total war. I enjoy all games but am looking to play these or similar games but don't know if they will work on this laptop.
any help would be much appreciated

You should be good for Age of Empires I & II (don't know the requirements for the latter ones) but I think Rome would bugger it up.

Please check the minimum requirements for both the games:

Age of Empires: Minimum System Requirements

Rome: Total War System Requirements for PC - VideoGamer.com

They should work fine on your system. You can check them and let us know if you face any issues with them.
