Do you think this system would be good enough for playing new games on high:
-Amd phenom ii x4 960t 3GHz
-MSI 970A-G45 AM3+
-4GB DDR3 1333MHz RAM
-VGA eVga GTX550Ti 1GB DDR5
-ATX 560w Blueberry G51
-WD Caviar Blue 500GB 7200rpm
-Sony Optiarc 24x DVD R/W

And could i play wow on ultra on it?

Would be better with a 560Ti, and an SSD.

That will be fine for gaming. Unless WOW has had a graphic overhall it will easily play it on ultra, its quite an old game!

You'd be fine for modern gaming as well if you toned down the graphics a little. Games like BF3 eat as much as you can throw at it. A gtx560 would give you ultra on that but only just.

The 6850 is a hidden gem!

-t was a little poop/average at launch but with latest drivers and updates its a beast! Its almost doubled irs performance. Its probably on par with the 560

For the sake of the discussion (and the rules, I guess xD), I won't be speaking in Serbian to the OP, but I guess I should point out to everyone else that here in Serbia, the cheapest prices are with a PC pre-built by the stores that sell them. And since I don't trust stores like that and wouldn't even if it could save my life... xD

4eyed, if you really have the cash for a new PC, build it yourself. The trivial stuff you can buy anywhere, but good GPUs, CPUs and especially power supplies can only be bought in Europe, or even better, the US. It's a costly purchase, but you'll be sure that you're getting the quality merchandise, not like the class Q crap stores sell here.

Unless, of course, you really just wanna play WoW and nothing else, then I guess it's alright xD

I know, i will be buying the psu, gpu and ram in germany ( going there in a week ). I couldn't believe it when i saw the hd 6870 for 150 euros, hd 6850 costs just as much here. My main concern is the cpu, not sure if it's good enough for modern gaming.

EDIT: Since hdds are pretty expensive nowadays, do you think 160gb hitachi sata 2 ( the one in my current specs ) will be enough 'till... Say... February?

I think my current PC specs aren't as good as yours, but my PC can play almost any game these days without problems. Unless it's something like BF3, I'll probably have problems, but I doubt I'll be getting any new games anytime soon.

Your system will be fine.

Edit: But I have to say, if you're going to be putting a lot of stuff on your machine passed the 160 gig mark, I suggest getting a bigger drive. If you're not, leave it alone.

I'm gonna get 500gb / 1TB when the prices go down.

EDIT: Now it's just a matter of choosing the gpu manufacturer. XFX Radeon HD6870 vs Sapphire Radeon HD6870.

Germany... Good! Anywhere but here in Serbia xD

160GB is really small nowadays, but unless you need extra space for pretty much anything, you can survive two months. Windows 7 with a reasonable amount of software installed takes about 20-25GB of space, so you should be set. And since you'll be getting a new HDD in any case, you should start backing up data soon.

A $50 case should be good enough. Only suggestion is just make sure the case can house the motherboard you'll be putting inside of it. Other than that, you're good to go. Good luck. :D
