I was hoping someone could share their expertise with me and tell me if this system Twitpic - Share photos and videos on Twitter +hd5850 will work with the psu in the pic

The short answer is yes.

It will be more than sufficient.


One thing I will add tho , the cooler you have chosen will not be much better than the stock one as its a fairly cheap one (I used to own one).

If you are not planning on overclocking then I would stick with the stock cooler, If you are going to overclock then I would chuck in another £10 to £20 and get a better cooler.

I agree with Paulpicks, the PSU will work fine. Look at the hyper212+ or one of the better Noctua coolers. They cost more but they get good results. No CPU?
