will win7 will recognize my internet connection??

hi,

when i do the clean install of win7 will it automatically recognize my internet connection? I have cable internet. not sure exactly how to get that going, the cable guy did it. Now dialup I could figure out.

Everytime (of 20-30 times) I've installed Win7 it has found and installed the ethernet adapter and had it connected when it started up.
