Will Windows 7 RC fit on a 30gb drive?

Will Windows 7 RC fit on a 30gb drive? I'm looking at buying this SSD for Windows 7 RC as it'll be my new main OS now.

Then I'll just get a few WD Black 640gb's or something for Programs, Data, etc.

Hello Bryce,

Yes, Windows 7 only needs a minimum of 16GB for it's installation. The rest of the space is for your installed programs and files, so it will depend on much you plan on installing afterwards to.

All my programs, etc will be on another drive so 30gb is fine. Thanks.

Na, that's not a bad price. It's about what I paid for this last generation drive that is a tad bit slower about 3 months or so back. If you can wait about a month though, I believe the SSD drives will be dropping in price even more.

32GB is fine. Especially if you disable hibernation and the pagefile - two entirely useless files to begin with. Once installed, Win7 only used 12GB for me, plenty of room for other stuff.

I won't be installing anything other than the OS on it as well. Never saw a point to that. So, I guess I'll use the SSD for Win7 and another OS only.
