Will you be using Windows 7's new Defragger?

After reading the article at
Engineering Windows 7 : Disk Defragmentation – Background and Engineering the Windows 7 Improvements I was more inclined to use the defragger that comes with Windows rather than a 3rd party one.
I believe it to be more thorough than the Vista one and maybe some 3rd party ones as well since it takes several passes. It also is more compatible with Windows 7's new version of NTFS which 3rd party programs wont be currently.
So I shall be using it at least during the time of the beta to get the full Windows 7 experience.

I use Diskeeper Pro 2009 as I have a license for my Vista and it allows several instances on the same machine.

Absolutely loved the fact that it takes multiple passes. At the same time regret that there is still no visual display and no way to view reports as to which files are fragmented and how much.
So, yes! I would use it since it provides all the basic functionality sans the hassles!

I've been using the Windows 7 defragger. One feature I like is the weekly schedule. Set it and forget it. The defragger (and the system backup) run at a time when I'm not using my pc. Very convenient.

Hi Romulin
You should never use 2 different defrag utilities constantly. Due to the differing algorythms used by the products, one will inevitably undo what the other has done and do things it's own way. If you're simply trying to decide which one to use, that's Ok for awhile but if it's done too much you basically are doing allot of unnecessary file movement.
Thread reply:
I started delving into the innards of fragmentation and defreggers a few years ago, and I must say I learned allot of things I wasn't aware of, and also allot of useless hype. I like how the MS guys are approaching this issue.
What really got me laughing tho was reading the comments section! Wow...uhhh "Hi n00bs"! Lot's of idiotic replies with a few smart folks thrown in, but it was good to see the MS guys get right in and answer them anyway (even tho the n00bs still came back and tried to refute the MS guys...LOL)

Groooooaan...you just HAD to mention those didn't you John..
Amazing what people can come up with to sell the masses eh. Make up an important sounding tool & sell em things they don't even know they needed (and didn't).
Now we just have Service Tweaks, Registry Cleaners, needless TCP\IP patches and some others to squash.
