I have a laptop and it currently is a 64 bit windows vista operating system. I went through the beta version of Standalone System Sweeper to fix a problem associated with a virus, in particular it was called Win.32.AutoRun.tmp It's a trojan virus. I ran a multitude of tests and they all came back clean, despite the fact that my computer still runs very very slow. It's obviously still infected, and by all means Microsoft Standalone System Sweeper should have corrected the problem.

I used spybot earlier and it supposedly fixed and deleted the problem. However I used Standalone and it said it was clean, every virus check I have used has said the same. Yet it still runs like it has a virus. Maybe I am wrong, but is there permanent affects this virus has, or does the beta version of Standalone have a glitch of a virus it can't fix. Thank you, I would just like to get some insight, and give you guys some insight on my problems having used your product. Thank you.

Important! If TFC prompts you to reboot, please do so immediately. If not prompted, manually reboot the machine anyway to ensure a complete clean.
