win 7 activation help

My pc was running so terrribly slow--I tried everything; updates, virus scan, windows tools, mr fixit, nothing worked. Finally i read on this forum I should do repair. Disks lost long time ago, I downoad win 7 from this site link, installed on directory and ran "repair" to simply repair my win 7 pro already on my pc. Seems to have fixed something--running my better. But now is shutting down because want avtivation (money). I jst wanted to FIX win 7 pro that was already on my pc--not buy again. Contacted Microsoft help, chatted with some guy from another country, asked for help and he said it would take him MORE THAN AN HOUR and I would have to pay him but gave me no final price. I said no--probably win7 caused this problem in the first place. (Just look at this forum...it's insane the problems).

I need to get my old activation back. Have old system restore disk. Can I do reset to previous time? I can't afford to buy again. I have found an old win 7 ultimate disk from previous pc. Please help. All my files and directories are intact--did NOT do install, only repair. I said sure activate, thinking it would take my old serial number. Now it is shutting down. No wonder everyone hates this...

ok, I read the instructions, will comply. Saw all the views without any reply and figured something is up. Still desperately need help--don't know if pc will allow me to do all this. Screen is black and it says activation period has expired. I am typing this on another, ancient pc--surprised it is still usable. But will try to do all this from corrupted pc.

When you consider that Win7 has over a billion installs, the number of problems is actually pretty low - and certainly lower than earlier versions of Windows.


It sounds as if you may have malware problems - or hardware ones.
Start with a malware scan.


Please download and install Malwarebytes Anti-malware (free version) from http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ - UNtick 'Enable free trial of MBAM PRO' at the end of the installation - and update it, then run a full scan in your main account, and Quick scans in any other user accounts.



Delete everything it finds

Once you've done that, post back with a quick rundown on what it found, and how the system is now responding.
Also with an MGADiag report...


Please follow this tutorial and post an MGADiag report - then we can see what the problem is.

Ignore errors produced when clicking on the Copy button - they simply mean that the tool could not create the backup files for some reason. The data is still copied to the clipboard for pasting to your response.



Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
