Win 7 and IE 8

Hello,

I just installed Window 7 ultimate in my computer and I am having a problem connecting to the internet [VERIZON]. It is intermitent, one day it works fine and then the next day it will time out before it connects and IE displays the message " can not display this page".

My second computer is running Win XP and it connects without fail to the same verizon account.

At this point I am totally confuse and I need someone to give some help it at all possible, what is the problem IE8 or Win 7 or Verizon.net?. How to approach the problem to find out what to fix?

Could be that Win7 doesn't think the site is safe.

Maybe XP is happy to connect, safe or not.

Is it possible the website uses Flash or another plug-in that isn't yet installed on the Windows 7 system?

hi,
when i instaled windows 7 on my notebook, i had a problem with the internet too, i must just manually input the default gateway
try to go to command promt and typ there "ipconfig" and send a screenshot
this can be the problem if u use wirelless
i u use lan then try to install mozila firefox or something else,
