They will, because many of us have been activating licenses since the forst week in August. Besides, even if they didn't, you still get your 30 days, that I'd hope everyone takes advantage of, if it is the first time they'd be using Windows 7.

http://www.microsoft.com/genuine installs the Windows Genuine Advantage ActiveX control, but still says that validation for Windows 7 is coming soon.
