Bigkdeep, welcome to the windows 7 forum.
One problem is that the thin clients are really running a remote desktop session on the host.
Windows only allows 2 remote sessions on the single machine at a time.
What you will have to do is to run windows server and purchase additional remote desktop clients for it.

Terminal server is what you really want to do and windows xp and 7 only allow a max of 2 connections at the same time.
The thin client is just a reduced Operating System version and requires a terminal server to connect to.

Bigkdeep, regardless of what method you use to have the workstations either boot to a nic rom which loads the os across the network and takes up a lot of space on the "server", you are going to have the problem of remote desktop to the server and it being a terminal server.

All the sites that google comes up with on a search for ccboot is a problem with my anti-virus (Vipre) which says that the site is dangerous.

I would be careful.

My recommendation is a windows server or even a linux server and then running remote into the server via terminal server for windows or something else for Linux.

Best I can come up with.
