hello
i resized my windows 7 partition to install ubuntu on my computer, after I had finish installing it I tried to boot windows and it came up the the error 0xc00225 and sometimes 0xc000000f. i have tried fixmbr and that just deleted grub and fix boot says it can't use disk or something like that. also when i am in the recovery disc menu up the top it says unknown OS on unknown disc, so i think it can't recognise window. also after fixmbr it comes up with this is not a bootable disk.
does anyone know a way i could try and fix with out having to reinstall windows? i have tried everything i could find.
thanks

I ask on the remote chance, do you have a backup from before the problem that we can restore from??

Do you have a win 7 dvd that we can do a repair install from???

just to add a bit more info doing fixboot ot rebuildbcd i get the error "could not open the volume root directory: the parameter is incorrect." i don't know if it would help or not though.
does anyone have any idea what it could be?
thanks

this might help as well, i think it has something to do with free space before the system partition
