You can use Disk Management or Diskpart to assign a drive letter.

If you don't we may be able to recover it if you don't do anything else to the partition yet, but it may be to late or can't be done. I will have to look into this but I'll wait for your answer.

Do you have a copy of your product key? This would save having to activate by phone which may be a problem if you don't have a copy of anything to do with your disk.i search the basement last weekend but I didn't find my copy.
