Win 7 brightness cannot be changed

Hello there, need an advise.
I have 2 laptops with same Win7 copy installed, and on none of them i can change screen brightness
i have Nvidia geforce gpu, all the screen brightness options are showing on control panel ->power plans, i can move them but screen doesn't change. is it a problem with gpu drivers? or something is missing due to bad copy of a windows? Thanks in advance!

Tried to install but it didn't help. now it's showing graphic interface when changing volume with "FN" button, but no luck with brightness:/

Check for corrupt Files ... Run a System Scan ...
