Win 7 Business x64 and random freezes

Hi,
I just posted a new thread about a windows 7 freeze, when i encountered this post.
The curious thing is that we both have the same mobo and cpu. Might this be related?
I run windows 7 pro 32-bits

Hi :)

I just runned SFC.exe and, after reaching 100%, the window of the command prompt just closed.

What does it mean ?

Thank you and have a good day :)

Hi everyone :)

I just runned again SFC because the file "CBS" was quite huge and I wasn't able to set where it begins and where it ends.

There is a .txt file which is the result :)

Hope this will help :D

Thank you again for your concern :D

Hi everyone :)

After a little time without a freeze, I just experienced two in one day :'(

The first, listening a mp3 with KMPlayer, and the second one watching a video on YouTube :s

Any idea to help me please ? :)

Thank you :)

Fix freeze/lockup permanently

It seems that this problem has too many difficult to fix causes.
So, if you can get hold of the logic circuitry schematic and find
the Gate input to RESTART (I retired when flip-flops were discrtete cicuits)
maybe it is possible to move the power switch output signal
from going to the shut off circuit, to the RESTART circuit gate.
So to shutoff the computer you pull the plug (like a Power Blackout)
and when there's a freeze up, just hit the swith to Restart.
My computers are on 24/7, never turn them off anyway.
So a call goes out for the genius who can figure out how to do that.

:D  :geek:   :sarc:

Hi everyone :)

Sorry, but I don't understand a whole thing gudway :o

I experienced one more freeze reading a PDF on Firefox (I tried two times and the same freeze). If I open the document in Adobe, no problem, there isn't freeze :s

Could it be linked with the streaming or Firefox ?
Do you think it would be better if I make a new installation of Seven ?

Thank you for your concern :)

At some point the pain of a clean install should be considered. If it is hardware it may not eliminate the problem but would point us in the right direction

Hi and thank for the answer :)

I think I will make it on the week-end, after my exams :)

I hope a clean install will help :)

Nothing to do with my problem, but I wonder : should I take care of softwares like Ccleaner or Glary Utilities to clean the Windows' register ?

Now on, I am used to Ccleaner and feared Glary Utilities because the software search deeper keys and I fear it could affect Win too much.

What do you think of it ?

Thank you again and have a good day :)
