Win 7 changed my chosen sound profile

When I installed and set up set up Win 7 several weeks ago, I chose "no sounds." Yesterday or the day before, it switched itself back to "Windows default." I did not make any changes myself to Sound.

Anyone know why or how this happens?

Did you change the theme in the Personalization window?

Brillant, logicearth. I did change the theme. All I wanted to do was the desktop screen to allow those neat WinKey-Tab rotating windows. I didn't realize this would also change the sound, although I notice now that the theme selection page says it changes background, sound, etc., "all at once."
