I replaced my 120G Corsair SSD a few months back with a Patriot 240G Blast.
Yesterday my computer just locked up and would not restart. I have a recovery disk, and it takes several ties, but I can get through to the recovery screen, but it then it comes up with an error and will not recover. I have tried using command prompt, but this drive will not show. Only the dreaded X: shows. I have installed the other drive and it works. I've tried different cables and no luck.
I've tried:
DISKPART
LIST DISK
SELECT DISK 0 (confirm from list this is WIn7 HD #)
LIST PARTITION
SELECT PARTITION # (replace # with WIn7 part #)
ACTIVE
EXIT
No luck. Is says there are no drives to show.
Also tried the bootrec.exe. Nothing.
I've tried just about everything I can find on these forums. And then some. I do not want to have to reload all over my software so I decided to make this post to see if there are any ideas otherwise.
Thanks for tolerating my question.
