Win 7 Crashing after using a program

Hi guys, just got win 7, had it for about two weeks, it has been working fine.

Yesterday a problem started to occur.

When i start my PC up I can run any prgram I like, COD4, internet what ever, but once i have finshed and shut that program down, win 7 crashes and i cant start any other program, the only thing that works is Ctrl & Alt & Del to restart computer. Then once it has restarted i can run the next program i want. I think it also hang when i leave it for a while and dont do anything. I have sleep turned off.

Any ideas?

What anti-virus are you using? Try downloading Malwarebytes free and doing a scan.

You might also try a System Restore to a point before the problem arose.
