Win 7 eating all my Vram...help

i have been looking through my system info i noticed that my Standard VGA adapter (the pre installed one that comes wit Win 7) has no VRAM, plz help i cant play any games i need 64mb of VRAM. I tried getting Nvidia display adapters but I cant install my working graphic driver, just the ones my comp cant support

You're probably just using the standard VGA driver since a proper one could not be found. Proper information as of what kind of display device you have, is a must.

Try with Everest, there's a trial version that should be good enough.

is there a way to 'turn off' which ever feature that uses on board ram as vram?
i notice a lack in performance in some games, due to the system using my ram in conjunction with my video card.
e/g my gfx card has 512 MB of ram, and windows diverts another ~270 MB of system ram onto that, ending with ~780 MB of vRam. i want to turn that off. im ok with playing on lower setings, as long as the game eill actually load. i only have a gig of ram, and cant really spare that 280 MB's. something in control panal perhaps?

i am fully aware of the bios setting that can be changed in some machines. mine however, has no such setting. the only thing close to that is called pci-e width, which mearly shows
"x16", and has no changeable settings.

@ holo88 I have no graphics card thats why i dont have a display adapter detected, I used to have a Nvidia Geforce MX 400 display adapter, but no card

You're not going to be able to play any games with an MX 400. You really need to upgrade your video card if you want anything made like after 2005 or so to run at any decent kind of level, or at all.

You gotta have some kind of graphics card installed now, or at least be using the onboard. Download and run small app, GPU-Z. It will tell you which.

is there a video RAM hack i can use? I really dont wanna try installing a new graphics card, or is there a way to make Win 7 gimme some VRAM on my Standard VGA adapter, I am really ticked off right now

I thought allocating memory to the GPU was in the BIOS. Also Vram is in the Hard drive so allocate more Vram first.
